Robin Cody has taught painting at Ringling College in Sarasota, Florida for twenty years. During her recent professional leave she participated in a Visiting Artist’s Residency at the American Academy in Rome where she worked on a series of formally staged still life paintings. In these compositions, objects are placed before an old mirror and seen simultaneously from two points of view. Also included in the exhibition are local scenes as Cody spends her summers with family in York, Maine.
