I Can See Clearly Now
Looking at Lauren Gillette’s work over the years, common threads emerge: words, memories, stories, reflections. Gillette is a conceptual artist who combines various materials with text to convey her ideas and commentary. In Gillette’s most recent project, “I Can See Clearly Now,” she presents a series of narrative timelines and color charts on glass vessels and clear and mirror panels.
The final exhibition of the 2019 season features works by regional artists, both familiar and new. The exhibition remains on view through the first quarter of the coming new year and is available by chance and appointment. Thank you to all the exhibiting artists and patrons for another memorable season. Winter Well!
