Camille Davidson

I live in Central Maine nestled in the woods near beautiful Maranacook lake. My love of my surroundings is where I find my inspiration. I am constantly  moved by the beauty of the woods and the water, particularly at the edges of the day.  I climb up to my tree-house studio every day and look deep into the woods and find light and color. I wander through water lilies in my kayak, looking into the reedy filled water with all the movement, shapes, and reflections which find their way onto my work. I often paint small water colors in the summer months and during our long winter develop them into larger pieces. I use memory, and how I feel to capture moments of the beauty I cherish every day.
