Alewife (large)

Alewives are kinetic and will spin in the wind. The shapes are derived from the study of fish in motion, and how light moves along their forms in the water.

These pieces are weather-hardy and will not tarnish or rust. The platinum leaf is susceptible to scratches, however, and care should be taken to handle by the stainless steel tube attached to the fish. They should not be installed beneath sap-producing trees which may damage the finish. We recommend bringing them indoors if unattended for long stretches or in particularly intense weather.

Indoor bases are also available.
